This rich balm creates a barrier to help skin feel protected and relieved as well as supporting overall wellbeing. It contains Hemp Extract, Coconut Oil, Shea butter, Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Bees wax, Vitamin E and Lavender Essential Oil.

The balm contains 100mg of CBD in a 30ml jar for applying to the skin.

Be sure to first wash the area with soap and water to remove any excess dirt, oil build up, or previously applied CBD lotions or topical creams. Doing so will ensure that there aren’t any barriers between the ointment and your skin, creating the best environment for absorption.

For adults, generously rub the balm onto the affected area and allow it to absorb for several minutes before covering with clothing and/or bandages so it doesn’t rub off. Be sure to watch the area for bad reactions like itchiness, redness, soreness, rashes or bumps. These are highly unlikely to occur but if they do then stop the treatment and seek appropriate advice.

For the elderly, apply smaller amounts so as not to over medicate since your skin is naturally thinner.

Once applied, the balm can take anywhere from 1-48 hours to provide an effect. This will depend on the dosage, how often it’s used, and the severity of your condition for which it is being used.

The balm can be applied from 1 to 3 times per day.

CBD (cannabidiol) is an extract from the cannabis or hemp plant that has no psychoactive properties and is classified as a food supplement in the UK. This means it will not produce a “high”. The Government, therefore, has recently decided that it is legal to grow, sell and consume CBD.

CBD has been shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of a number of medical conditions and this has been well documented. It has been known and used for thousands of years to treat many debilitating diseases. On top of this the fibre from the hemp plant has been used to make rope, sails and clothes.

Most publications report that CBD is non-toxic and well tolerated with very few side effects. Any side effects that have been reported are minor. However, you should be aware of the potential effects listed below:

CBD may have an impact on liver enzymes which could affect the way in which pharmaceutical drugs are metabolised. This means that if you are taking medicinal products their effectiveness may be decreased or increased. However, this is reported as a potential and has not been verified in clinical trials.

Dry mouth can occur with CBD but is easily corrected with a glass of water.

Light headedness, as a result of a small drop in blood pressure, has been known but is normally only caused within a few minutes of inhaling via a vape device and tends to alleviate quite quickly.

Drowsiness, particularly with high doses of CBD, is the most common side effect although still quite rare. If you are affected, then you should not

In daily doses of 300mg or higher it has been reported by two patients with Parkinsonism* that their tremors got worse. This effect was quickly reversed by reducing the dose.

If you feel drowsy after taking CBD you should not drive or operate machinery.

No cases of overdose of CBD have been recorded.
